Needle like pain in chest and stomach? PLEASE help!?

So occasionally I have this pain in my chest and stomach. It feels like im being poked with a needle..When it occurs in my chest I cant take breaths...Or its very painful to do so. In my stomach its not as often but still very painful. This doesnt happen often but it happens at le ast 2 times a month. What could this be? Is there a reason I have this issue...I've had it for years but never had it checked out.
