i am 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant with first baby..i have some pain in lower back?

i usually felt like slight lower back pain since 3 days it was very short.....i went to the l& d department when i was 32 weeks due to this pain coz i called my doc she said to go immediaely....but everything was normal....and i was not dilated.....so they send me back.....but now i feel lower back pain alot....and also some pricky kind of pain on the right side of the abdomen....i didnt time the pain but.....and i m losing my mucus plug since 1 weeks in small bots and pieces.....i told my doc on last visit( one week back) srmal....do u think she said its normal....so now what should i do.....and my baby was moving allot ...is that normal......is everything is alright or m i worrying unnecessarily?........pls advice

Chances are the baby is just dropping. For first time pregnancies, this can happen days to weeks before labor. For subsequent pregnancies, it usually doesn't happen until labor has already started. If it gets to where you can time them and they are consistent, call your doctor, you might be going into labor. If you have been on your feet a lot, that could be what is causing it. Try and rest with your feet up and if doesn't stop, call.

This sounds normal to me. I had a lot of pain around that time in my pregnancy and each time I went to the hospital and was told everything was normal. Usually if the baby is moving around a lot that is a good sign. If you notice the baby barely moves or you have pain that is unbearable you should go back to the hospital.

i agree! probably baby dropping and hips spreading, preparing for the birth. it could also be the stress of all that weight on the back. just lay down and take it easy until its time!
