Can i take pain meds while on birth control?

I take Lutera birth control pills. i recently had surgery and i was perscribed a pill containing codine. can i continue taking the birth control pills with the pain pills? what will happen if i mix the two?

Yes you can take any kind of pain killers without worries. What irritates them are only antibiotics.

It wont bother you at all. What does bother birth control pills is antibiotics.
