today i had a stick poke my eye and i'm in pain?

i was breaking sticks to throw into a fire pit and when i leaned over a stick went directly to me eye. This happend about 8 hrs ago and it still hurts and i can barely open it. how long will it heal and will this affect my vision

you could have scratched your cornea or something. you should see a doctor so they can take a look at it.
