is it safe to spray paint in a loft?

my fiance dose body work to moterbikes and helmets and he dose this in a loft with a 2inch ventalation gap round the whole loft area is it safe to do this or is his health going to be damaged??

It is not safe for him or for anyone that lives in the building! Do it outside or not at all
