| Do Giclee prints show the density of paint, brush strokes, etc...?
I have not done a great deal of research but it seems like the consensus is that Giclee prints are the closest thing one can get to an original painting. I am curious however as to whether or not these prints showcase all the properties of an original painting. I was just in Las Vegas browsing through some of the galleries in Caesar's Palace and the Bellagio, and there were beautiful works that were numbered, to the effect of "12 / 68," or something like that. They looked great and had incredible detail but were still prints, correct? Thank you for clarifying.
