color to paint room?

hi, we're moving to a new house, and the size of the new rooms are quite small. anyway, i would love to paint my room a deep red but since the room is small and lacks natural light i know that won't be an option. what i though about is painting one wall deep red and the rest keeping it a pastel pink. would that be nice? and would that match? also for reference the floor is mexican tile. Thanx in advance!

That is tough!Consulting a proffessional decorator might be best for you so they can come in and get a feel of your space,so to speak. Good luck.

You can do that. I recently did something similar in my own bedroom. Like yours, it's not huge and it doesn't get a whole lot of light. I painted the feature wall "roasted pepper" and the rest "ponder" (a rosey mauve) by Behr. I love the way it turned out. Very warm & intimate without being too overwhelming.
