Will putting a metallic silver acrylic paint on black polymer clay make the

finished product look silver? I'm doing a project and I'm wondering if it will make it turn out nice. I want to to LOOK silver but with a "good quality" finish to it. Do you think it will work out fine? I'm going to try to use black polymer clay and then bake it. Afterwards, I will put on a metallic silver paint over it. Then, I will bake it another time?
