Why is a primed gundam piece not taking paint properly? I sprayed a piece with tamiya surface primer gray, let it dry for a couple hours, and tried to spray white tamiya lacquer on it. The paint was building in some areas and not sticking to others. Here's a picture of what it kinda looks like... not my picture but similar problem: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii292/strangeoprk/Harms%20Gundam/issue2.jpg

Did you wash your kit parts BEFORE priming anything? I've had the same problem and the problem is because there's a mold release sprayed onto the parts at the factory. If you need to remove the paint, go to your hobby shop as there's stuff to remove paint. Once the paint is removed, wash your part in soap & water while you can wipe/shake most of the paint off, just let it dry. Then prime your part again. As to the laquer part, I use Floquil SP Lettering Grey for priming all of my parts.

That looks like a dirty nozzle on the White lacquer... TEST it on a piece of UNPRIMED plastic or cardboard, and if you get the same problem... it isn't a problem with the primer. I haven't worked with lacquer in years, but I recall humidity can also cause "orange-peeling"... GOOD LUCK !!
