| I need tips on how to go about painting a picture for my mom on Mother's Day!?
I am 15 years old, and I've never really painted before. I know I can do well it if I really try. I am going to recreate a painting of flowers, or a colorful heart. Anyway, I know I need to go buy canvas, but what I need to know is what kind of paint do I buy? And if you have any tips, that would be great!! |

If you can draw fairly well outline the images on the canvas with pencil or charcoal then paint within the boundary's. to prepare canvas .Pull it tight over a wooden frame and staple in on.Cover the surface with a light base paint or jesso..when dry ,lightly apply images with pencil and use acrylic paint.concentrate on light and shadow....No great artist would ever consider competing against a mother's son's work on mother's day....It will no doubt be her masterpiece..
