| i was wondering if i can spray paint my stock rim while they are on the car, lazy... ...to take them off? will it still work or look ok that way      |

| I know somebody who did this, and they got paint all over their fender, tires, and in the wheel well. Take newspaper, and lots of masking tape. Cover anything that isn't the rim, and at least 3 feet away from it. Make sure there is ZERO wind at all, or you will get overspray all over the rest of your car, and then you'll need to use a buffing compound (or, my favorite - Body Scrub by Meguiars) this is only a good idea on Steel rims. DO NOT paint alloy rims |
