Painting my room?

I have light wood floors and im getting either dark brown or balck furniture in my bedroom. what color should i paint the walls. I am interested in the style were you have one wall one color and the other 3 another color. Can anyone give me some ideas please

Choosing complementary colors that will coordinate with your furniture/floor can be tough. I'd recommend looking at this blog's color wheel for some ideas. You can see what color matches best with different colors and their hues.

check some color coordinating ideas at interior magazines which I am sure you have in your area. For me black and brown is not a pleasant combination.

Go bold with your accent wall. I would paint it a deep blue, like "seaworthy" by sherwin willams. This would be the wall directly opposite the entrance to the room. And then paint the rest of the walls "Hearts of palm." It will look fantastic! Check it out:
