| Hi, I would not recommend using any type of paint in an aquarium-you have no idea what toxins it may leach out. Even if it is inert the water may alter it's properties rendering it poisonous after a time.      |

| They sell painted/decorated rocks at stores. I am not sure about the paint though, every time I used a colored-up decoration in my tanks, the color/paint chips away over 3-4 months. What I thought looked the best were the "holey rock" type of rock. ITs whitish, pourus and typically has holes in the rock itself for fish to swim through and around. HTH |
