Another question about painting my six panel closet doors.?

I have already posted a question about painting my 6 panel closet doors with latex semi gloss Duration paint. I have followed a lot of the advice given in regards to my earlier question. It mostly looks fine now except for the raised part of the panels. First I apply the paint to the panel and then I go from the bottom to the top of the panel to tip it off with the brush. Since I have to stop at the top of the panel because it will go into another part of the door, it ends up looking funny - like less shiny. I would have the same problem if I went from top to bottom to tip it off. Is it because the paint is not even? What can I do about this problem? Thank you again.

I had this same problem and finally gave up on using a brush. I got one of those very small sponge rollers, about 3 inches long and very small around. Not only was it faster I ended up with a beautiful finish.
