I have an airsoft gun with no orange painted tip. What kind of paint...

...should I use to make it legal outdoors? I bought an airsoft gun off eBay, but the owner bought it off RedWolf Airsoft, a company in Hong Kong, which paints guns with a semi-perminanent paint that eventually comes off with some paint thinner. Now, I want to sell the gun on eBay which requires it to have the muzzle painted at least 1/4" in orange. What kind of paint should I use to paint it? What if I want to remove it for use in theatrical or movie productions? Is there a specific paint I should use?
