my boyfriend of 8 yrs ditched me too sample some freedom he was bored.I know there was no woman involved,his mates painted a better clubbin' world for him and he believed them.Now after 3 weeks he has started calling me and asking me how i am again.his voice is softer.what does this mean?

Maybe that he misses you?Or that he can't get laid anywhere else and is falling back on you as his backup poontang. Hell if I know, guys are weird when it comes to breakups.
