If your forty year old boss wore toe rings and flowers painted on her toenails?

I work in a conservative financial office and my boss wears (even in 50 degree weather) toe rings and flowers on her pink toes. I am younger than she, but I still find it hard to take her seriously. I've accepted the form fitting clothes and the belly and cleavage, (she's flat so it's kind of funny) but the toes are too immature. Would you respect her?Her professionalism and toes match.Wow, so many details I could add about the way she climbs or "spreads" the corporate ladder,- but you are right I need to get over it. Thanks!

Does she do good work? Then yes, and vice versa. If painting a neon orange dodo bird on her forehead improved performance and office harmony, I'd respect her for that.

She is your boss so I assume she has worked her way up the ladder by the quality of her work. Her attaire depends on where you are. In NYC, it would be out of place, but in CA if the company doesn't have a problem, why should you?I would respect her mind -- because she has climbed through the corporate world. Don't worry about what she wears -- worry about how well you do your job, and you will be happier.Best of luck!

If you have time to listen http://youtube.com/watch?v=-Thz2SOKkGI , Jenny Lewis sings at 1:45"and you will wake up 45"In CA she is a skank and in NY she is MOD!!!

What's wrong with that? I think that is totally COOL for her to wear accessories that fits her lifestyle.

I think you need to stop worring about what she wears, You are not her mother. She is your boss and has the right to wear what she likes as do you... And I find it a little rude that you are commenting on the way you think she made it to her job..

She's dumb. I wouldn't take her seriously.
