I have made many in my life time Lady F...... usually of a risque nature that either gets a lot of laughs or has me running down the drive way with the sound of a shot gun ringing in my ears. Lucien Freud....... pah ! Now if it was a Stubbs or Caravaggio, I would gladly part with 33 million. For his work.... 33p.

As a matter of fact......In my early years as a self-employed artist and designer, I was talking on the phone to a friend bitching about a client of mine. The client was a very demanding character. As I was talking to the friend, a beep came thru indicating there was another call coming in. I told the friend to hang on while I answered it. It was the client whom I spoke to for a minute before telling him I would have to tell my friend on the other line that I would have to call him back. The client waited while I switched the line over to my friend. I switched quickly to my friend and said " That mother blank of a blank blank client is bugging me again. I will have to call you back". At which point the client responded "Jan, this is the mother blank of a blank blank." (the friend had hung up so the call got reconnected to the client.) Oops. I had no excuse but to tell the client "Well.....in all fairness...you are aren't you?". At which point he actually laughed and admitted it and we got along much better from then to the end of the contract.

I was trying to be polite to a colleague who I detest .. and who has upset my best friend at work ... she handed me something and I said ..."f*ck you !" instead of " Thank you !" ... ha ha !

Why only this morning, I looked across the breakfast table at my dear lady wife. What I had intended to say was "darling, could you please pass me the marmalade"what I actually said was "you f***ing b*tch, you've ruined my life!".

Freuds grandson was clearly obsessed with the flesh of his mothers titties although his works aren't my cup tea daringk. However if I wanted to do some mindless frittering I would purchase anyone of my own paintings then I would not be Fripped at any cost.

good one I have to say, as objectively as I look into it ... that is complete and utter turd, that picture - dreadful. Most artists could recreate it, for a lot less than 30m
