I'm an acrylic nail addict & a fashion whore, so?

But recently, discovering that acrylics were no longer "in" i switched to short nails painted a black/plum color & I love this look. I'm trying the new trend of short nails painted white, but I was wondering. Is this tacky? does it look too much like gone to town with the correction fluid kind of thing?What would you wear it with etc?Polyvore outfits with white nailpolish in coroprated into a look would be VERY helpful. Thanks fashionistas!

i dont think it would look tacky but be careful. for an outfit id wear either grey skiny jeans, a tank top with a long button down sweater vest, a long necklace from urban outfitters or somewhere and tall brown boots. or id wear some cute white dress with the same brown boots, big sunglasses, a cute scarf and an awesome bag. i dont really think you need to necessarily center your outfit around your nails. i like the other nail polish idea too i love plum(:

I don't really like the white nail polish, but you are right, it is in. And so are natural nails. I like black nails.

i love acrylics im a nail tech lol! i have gel nails its a personal thing they look more natural! maybe try gel if you like the fakeish look!!! but i also like the short coloured look im forever changing the colour of mine to keep up with trents and new products!

no, of course not!white nail polish is SO hot right now, (and good choice with the black/plum - its really classy and fashionable right now too) - no, it doesn't look tacky - if you apply it right.white nail polish is pretty versatile - so like, you could wear it with pretty much anything.it depends on your style, but a pretty summer type dress with white nails would look gorgeous, as would heels, jeans and a tank.so its really up to you x
