I absolutly hate the ugly wooden doors my house has and I wan't to paint them white. But since its wood, would they come out really bad?

Absolutley Not! They will look great. Make sure to sand them lightly and wash them before you paint them.

sand well and be sure to use a stain blocking primer before painting. use a self leveling conditioner in your paint to avoid brush strokes. best to use a high quality roller for smooth surfaces.
have fun!

No...they'll turn out great!! Just take them off the hinges and sand them down and wipe them off with a moist cloth. If they are very dark wood, you may want to prime them first. Then paint. They'll look really nice!

They will come out great if you sand them, wipe them down really good then prime them. Put two coats of white trim paint letting it dry between coats and they should look great. ( I find that Behr trim paint works the best) I like to cut in the paint with a brush, then roll the rest of the door. They sell the small rollers that are perfect for doors at the Home Depot. Just ask for them in the paint section and they will know what you are talking about.
