Painting our bedroom a dark burgandy - paint help & questions???

We are painting our bedroom a dark burgandy color almost deep purple over a beige paint. We bought satin paint and we are painting over semi gloss. My hubby didnt prime the walls since we were painting over a light color. The pain seems to be streaking though and I was wondering if this is because we didnt prime it? We are still trimming though and that may be why the paint is streaked cause of the took he is using.

On two walls we are doing the dark burgandy and on the other walls an olive green. How do you get the colors to meet right in the corners also?

Any suggestions??
