| i am thinking of painting my kitchen floor? i've taken up the tiles that were there and underneath the floor is black [glue from the tiles ]what would be the best paint for the job .thankyou in advance .      |

| You can get paint that is specifically for masonry at any paint store or home improvement store. You'll want a semi-gloss, though, so it's easier to clean. You'll also need to completely remove everything from the floor down to bare concrete and use a good primer (also specifically for masonry). One option would be to have someone apply an epoxy-based covering. This stuff lasts forever, and is available in a wide variety of patterns and colors. Look up PermaCrete to see a gallery of applications. |
