What color should I paint the trim in my room?

I just painted my room a really pretty blue/gray. I originally chose this color because I thought it would go with my existing trim and I could avoid repainting that. Well it doesn't and now I am at a lose for what to paint the trim. I have darker wood floors and a white ceiling. The trim goes right up to the ceiling so I feel like since I going to paint it, I should go for another color. The color is almost like a pale blue but more muted with gray. I have done very little decorating so far so I flexible with colors! Just learning how to decorate... But think I am going for a pretty girly room look, but not too little girlish since I am in my 20's. Thanks soooo much!
right now my bedding is white and I was thinking of making a headboard covered with material and was considering white too. If I did white trim then I would probably need to bring in another color and would love any suggestions! Thanks!!!
