What color pattern should I paint in my room?

I like the color gree. Should I......Paint half green/half tan? or maybe stripes of green and tan around the room? Wha suggestions can you give me? If at all possible.....provide pics.

i done it in my room so that one wall was in lemon green
and the others were in vertical stripes of a decent green and light yellow that doesn't dstich to the eyes,,,,you could also paint the room in one single color and make then a big horizontal stripe in yellow, or a pretty brown,,,,,or if you have a sofa make a vertical stripe in the size of the sofa and later a picture above the sofa and a lamp beside,,very symmetrical and looks wonderful

ok. you should do this: paint the room green and make the door and floor boards brown. it looks nice
