Chubby Paint.?

I have an registered American paint, who puts on weight like crazy. She is on grass 24/7 and a small amount of Nutrena Safe Choice feed. She is ridden all year, but we have very bitter winters here in Michigan, with lots of snow and ice. I want to keep her on some amount of Safe Feed, because she has had colic once. It has also improved her coat and feet dramatically. I show my mare in Dressage, so I ride her once or even twice a day, weather permitting. She packs on the muscle pretty quick, but I still can't get her down to what my vet considers to be a healthy weight.
