How can I cut a circular image on Paint Shop Pro without a white background?

Like, there is a box around the circular image, but I don't want the box. I just want the circular image. How do I get rid of it?

make it transparent or the same color as the background you are going to put it on

the image will always be square or rectangle..so you can only mask it so it wont show what is outside the circle.
