My son has a Painted Turtle and??

I want to know the size it should be at 6 months, 1 year, and so on? I know about the habitat, feeding, and general care. I am not sure how big it is supposed to get or be at 1 and 2 years old? Thanks, all I need to know is the size, Oh, and what are some different kinds of live food I can feed it other than worms?
