Yes you can tan while BF, and you probably shouldn't paint while pregnant but if you have open windows and/or low fume paint and take your time you can anyway.

use the odourless paint, i painted my daughters nursery while pregnant, my bf was meant to do it but i was too impatient. i wanted it all done, i was on ladders at 7.5-8mos pregnant - NOT SMART AND NOT CLEVER!!!! i know that now.

i dont see why you can tan while BF, but of you are pregnant you def should not be tanning

DONT tan in a tanning bed while breasfeeding!
cant you wait a few minutes to tan and feed your child first?
you dont even know what damage that might cause to a baby!

don't tan in a tanning bed ever it increases your risk of skin cancer by about 90% go for spray tans or tinted moistureiser. as far as painting as long as you were a mask when you are sanding and keep the room well ventilated you should be fine
