Has anyone thinned down "Jasco Paint Remover". I am wanting to put it in a spray

bottle.? I am stipping metal and have alot of crooks and crannies to spray. I have used the aerosol cans but i have the gel type now . Can I use a laquer thinner to reduce it to spray out of a, say, windex bottle.

I think it might melt the plastic. I used it once and it started eating through the rubber gloves I was wearing (not enough to penetrate, but the gloves had melted-looking spots on them). Try putting some on the outside of a test bottle to see what happens first.

Also, I believe that Jasco stripper is water-based. I know that, when I have gotten some on my skin (and it burns like hell, by the way), I could immediately remove it with a cloth wet with water. So, try thinning it with water, not any type of mineral spirits.

you could try, but I am betting the plastic starts "melting" after awhile.

My guess is that you'll have a melted spray bottle. Try using a brush to apply it to the crevices, a cheap brush since it'll probably be destroyed as well.
