I want to paint a design on glass. Can I use acrylic paint to do this if I use

a sealer over it? A friend's dog died and since I am an artist she asked me to paint his image on a glass urn. Can I use acyrlic paint on glass and use a sealer over it to preserve it or do I need a special paint for glass?
