us citizen has a spectacular aura about
what do you paint on wood thats been near a fire to stop the burn smell?

I bought a house that had a fire in the rear of house. I am replacing all burnt wood. But some just has that soot and smell on it. I know theres a sealer you paint it with. What is it?
