NYLongshot has a spectacular aura about
Painting plaster mistake?????

I have an interior bedroom I recently renovated and had the walls blue boarded and skimmed in plaster. I primed the walls with Behr PVA drywall primer/sealer no 73. The ceiling has been painted and looks good but in a cpl areas near the outlets the primer peeled a bit. I was able to feather out the peeling areas but it made me wonder if I had used the right primer.

The walls were allowed to dry for over a month before they were primed (more like 2 mo actually). I read somewhere that PVA was bad to use on plaster walls and that I should sand it off. I tried 220 and 150 grit paper in one area and this will be A LOT of work to remove all the primer. It seems to be very well adhered to the wall. However Im afraid that when I apply the top coat of paint it will lift.

Any advise would be great.

Thanx guys
