What color should I paint my bedroom walls?

Right now the walls are light purple and I have a vanity area that is painted a darker purple. My pictures are mostly black and white paris pics. I have purple bedding, purple curtains and zebra accents. I am wanting to change the light purple on the walls. There is just too much..well..PURPLE.

Consider using lime green to kick up the room a bit and make the purple stop bugging you. The mix of lime green with purple and then the black and white of the zebra will make a stunning match. Add some silver or chrome accents to add a bit of glamour, light and jazz...
