Performing Arts as major?

I want to take performing arts in college. Has anyone majored in this? If so, if you could go back would you change your major? Are you enjoying it and learning a lot? Is it something you can make a living off of. Also, what is your advice on what I should be doing to prep for college. I am taking vocal privates, acting class, choir, and am thinking about taking piano and dance. What is your advice during and after college? Thanks! I appreciate all the great answers everyone always provides me with! : )
