Performing Arts?

I want to major in performing arts in college. I am currently taking 2 vocal privates, church choir, and drama class. Even though these classes have helped me improve tremendously they are not the best classes and there are many people in our group that can not sing or act and they are like 10 years old. However there are some girls my age. I am 16 years old and have always been able sing and act naturally. Should I joing a more advance class or studio. Also, in my class thay always give the teachers daughter the lead part... always! Even if she does not deserve it. She is only twelve and she is talented. However, I do not think it is fare to always do this when there are other really talented kids in the class. Where should I switch to.
I appreciate everyones answers. When i said that there were younger girls, I did not mean that they were not talented and sweet girls, they are! They are just more of beginners and on a different level than i am. Thanks for the answers! Have a great day! : )

See if there is a little theater in town, they base most parts on personality and talent not because someone's kid gets the part. You might be able to take part in plays at the junior college level too inquire at the admissions office about it.
Your old enough to take a couple of jc courses they also count towards your high school graduation credits.
