Stage Fright!?

ok so for my Langueg Arts class I have to do a play and im cinderella. Its about a girl who hates to read so "sir bookworm" gets all the books she's read and the main charecters of those books has to say some lines. I have to perform it infront of my best friend and say the following..."This must be a NIGHTMARE this cannot be true is she(the girl who hates reading) saying that prince charming and I are all through. Its not even midnight so what does she mean that I'll never again get to play out this scene? I'd rather sweep ashes and sleep on the floor then never live in a book anymore." I like the play personaly but i have to perform it in front of my CRUSH and he knows i like him and on top of that i have to be dramatic AND I have to go first!!!So please help me either get out of the play or get out of stage fright!This is going to be a small play where we group two homeroom toget her one day then two more then next day. There will not be a big audience and no parents.

stage fright is tricky, but here is something, breathe and just think about waht you are about to do ,not who's about to watch, and trust me all you have to do is get over stage fright for the moment before you get on stage and once you're on you'll be fine.

Stage fright is projection of anxiety onto audience, so make them fear you!

Ohmigod. I was so scared of Stage fright when I did my first play. Just, make eye contact with the audience and make them feel good. Just, forget everyone is there an act like ur character. And, ur worried about ur crush? Pay attention to someone else. A parent or a bff? If h makes fun of you then just laugh it off and say your right! I'm not an actor! Ok?Hope this helps!
