Milk and honey.. Period !!!! Otherwise water.If you sing from the diaphram, you should be able to sing for hours on end and 7 days a week.If the throat gets irritated or sore, you are not breathing right. Simple trick, you sing the way you speak. When you yell, you tighten up the stomach muscles .....that is the proper technique.
