I'm not sure where you're going with this. Restraining orders are for protection against people you fear may physically harm you. If your lawyer has your personal information, he is required by the rules of professional ethics to keep it private, except as required by the case. If you think he's given it to someone that he shouldn't have, you can file a complaint with the Bar. A restraining order, even if one could be issued, is just a piece of paper that says "Don't do this". Since he's not allowed to do it anyway, getting an extra piece of paper to say so would be utterly pointless. Richard |
