| Philosophy and violent people??? The kid that killed all those people at Virginia Tech was unprovoked. Let’s say something like one in twenty million people behave like that.
Does it stand to reason that an even greater number would commit a violent act in a very public place against the specific party whom provoked them as a class?
Does it stand to reason that an even greater number would commit a violent act in a very public place against the specific party whom provoked them personally?
With all this in mind does not stand to reason that it is a bad idea to provoke anyone?
Does it not stand to reason that it is better to be honest, and respectful of everyone? Why “tread” on someone else? How would you know that they are not one of the above?
I don’t think I want to be an innocent bystander within range when someone is provoked to the point of violence just because they feel they have no other means of obtaining justice. |
