| What's wrong with majoring in philosophy if you want to go to Medical School? i am one of those people who are very cultured, i like to study everything that I can and i love to just know everything lol. so i decided i wanted to be a doctor and complete the minimum requirements for medical school while majoring in philosophy. and one day i was looking at statistics and it actually said that 50% of philosophy majors get into medical school while like only 35% Of science majors get in. and it was proven philosophy majors do just as well on the MCAT (since a great part of the MCAT is reading) AND just as well in medical school. at JHU, majoring in a science is actually a bad thing (one of the top medical schools in the country)..but im getting feed back that i should major in philosophy? what do you think?      |
