| Do you get my philosophy? rate it out of 10?
it would be fair enough to say that when everyone else is climbing up with the weight of only their body, i feel like im carrying sandbags on each of my limbs. i have mental illnesses, interfering my life and certainly with my studies in university. other around me seem to have a easy life without mental illnesses. |

Well let the sandbags go. I'm not being harsh just realistic. There is no such thing as mental illness (unless you have had brain damage) despite what people tell you. They use this term for people who are emotionally damged & by doing this they give people the impression they have something THEY cant deal with without expensive psychological or medical help. I dont know your background or what type of harm (seemingly deliberate or otherwise) that may have been done to you. As a parent of 5 adults I know we can unwittingly do harm & its perhaps a pity we dont have a video of how we raised our children so we can show them...& tell them how things went wrong, IE...thats what I had been brought up to believe & I repeated it you because I didnt know better....I didnt mean what I said to you there....I was flat out busy & just tried to nicely tried to get you to go & play....I was being funny & just said something off the top of my head. This just an example & may not sound so bad but we parents form our childrens opinions & attitudes that make or break how they get on with others ...learn etc. Mixing with others more often helps balance these but if parents seriously harm childrens emotion (or others & the parents are not aware & cant or dont help) this creates such negative states that an individual finds it interferes with every thought pattern for their life. BUT like a tiny baby learning to walk this can be changed...in other words babies dont know about fear & limitation so they just dedicate themselves to walking...1 step at a time. If you could see you mind as a garden with thought as seeds of plants & weeds you could start writing out what you do want & start working toward them. A key is slowing thoughts & deliberately creating harmony within. (Space is limiting what I can say) How do you want others to know you as? Write traits down. What is required from you to become these write these down...such a project has a calming effect instantly because your thoughts are structured, so you are on your way, one step at a time. Theres so much more I could say & even how I word this. All the best I hope this helps. Parents were raised in same messy ways so theres no point blaming we can only change things for ourself (& our children) |
