Philosophy/Econ dilemma?

Is it possible to get a job in finance with only a philosophy degree or will I need to get an econ degree also? My goal is to go into the field of finance and hopefully be a hedge fund manager and then live a very lucrative and comfortable life.

I think that is a worthy goal. But I suggest you break out your logic text book and try to diagram out just how a person with no formal education in economics or finance is going to land a job as a hedge fund manager.

I don't see the dilemma. A person with a degree in philosophy should have the ability to think out the necessary course of action to achieve your goal.
