If i told you i major in Philosophy... what would you think?

my friend says he would think that the person loves to waste time doing nothing of importance & i would think that the person is very smart.. what HONEST first impression do you get... whatever it is that comes to mind whether you see the person as insightful or as a boring nerd, whatever....
