Who here has studied philosophy & or economics?

If you did why are they important?

if you did not why are they not important?

and how does your knowledge or lack of knowledge effect your vote and this election?

Sounds like an essay dissertation, as related to reality, a deeper understanding of both proves their lack of relevance today

Philosophy yes. Economics no.
All knowledge is important.
Philosophy makes you think about the world around you more objectively. This world is SERIOUSLY lacking critical thinking skills. You need to see all sides clearly before you chose one.
I'm Canadian though. I won't be voting.

Studied both in college.
Have owned my own small businesses, including companies that dealt internationally.
Voting for McCain. No other choice.

What the Democrats are saying about the economy is flat out WRONG. Either they know that and are lying or they don't know it and are incompetent.
In either case, voting for a Democrat for president or Congress is the dumbest thing you can do if you want to help the poor move to the middle class and help the middle class live the American dream.
