Pope John Paul's "THEOLOGY OF THE BODY"

There's a shorter simplified version by Christopher West. You can look up the chapter in the book "The Good News about Sex and Marriage" (based on Pope John Paul's ToB).

It is thorough, it is in question and answer format and it doesn't shy away from anything. It speaks of birth control from its inception. How it was viewed throughout history, what it's consequences are and unveils the true meaning behind it.

Considering how many people have criticised the Pope on his stance against contraception I think they all owe it to themselves to read this book and find out his reasons. Many will be surprised just how much sense they make and will become appalled to see how we have been manipulated by these "liberal" ideas for decades

Depends on how it works. If it keeps an egg from being fertilized, good. If it scrapes a fertilized egg, well...

Um, which ever one realizes that birth control is a good thing, because it allows people to do what they're naturally inclined to do, but safely and with some degree of control over their future.

It takes the fear and regret out of a natural and beautiful thing, and uneccessary guilt and fear has never been good for anyone's mental health.
