Protestants, is Joseph Smith in heaven?

Joseph Smith was saved within the Protestant churches before the LDS church was established.. Does anyone really believe that he is in heaven while all of his followers are doomed to hell? Can you see how this type of theology and philosophy just doesn't make sense? I know that I am not speaking to all Protestants but I am certainly speaking to a great number of them.He was a member of the Methodist church, just like George W. BushChris, you are obviously a Martin Luther fan. Martin Luther was a drunken adulterer until the day he died. He even bragged about it. Read the sermon on the mount to decide who goes to heaven and who is in danger of going somewhere else. Jesus' teachings were quite opposite of Martin's.mr Stevie, you may be technically correct. However, we all know if someone attends a church on a regular basis until they are a young adult, they are considered members. Do you really believe that young Joseph sat there for a thousand sundays and never participated in a "saved" prayer? Come on!

Prove that he was saved in a church before he started the LDS . You can't.This doesn't affect the fact that it is impossible to lose salvation (1 John 5:13). Salvation is eternal.

By Joseph Smith's own account, he was never baptized into any religious organization and viewed all of them as "fallacious". Ms. Stevie is correct. Given these facts, Joseph Smith would be in Hell according to those protestants that believe you have to be baptized to be saved.

Hey - what is wrong with being a Martin Luther fan? Luther was not perfect, nor was he always the nicest man, be he followed his religious convictions the best that he could. I'm a Martin Luther fan myself - a born and raised Lutheran - I certainly don't worship him though. Let he who is sinless cast the first stone.If God wants Joseph Smith in heaven, then he is there. If God wants Martin Luther in heaven, then he is there too. Peace!
