| Can someone explain to me the philosophy of no absolute truths?
Does it mean that everything is false then? Because how can you define false without true? Aren't they dependent upon one another? Does it mean that truth is relative? If so, how can two people have two separate relative truths that disagree with one another, and both be true? Does it mean that things are only partially true? How do you have something that is partially false without the whole idea being fully false? I can't wrap my brain around it, but I know this is a concept widely accepted in people's beliefs about God, or Gods, or lack of God(s) |

It boils down to this: Since I can't know with 100% certainty that something is true, there is no truth. And if you're willing to accept that, I have very little respect for your reasoning abilities. I see it as nothing more than a narcissistic evasion of our responsibility to seek after understanding in favor of diverting ourselves with empty pleasure. It allows you to look smart and deep without having to do anything to justify that impression. Can you tell I don't like it? peace |

Something I learned back in grammar school when I was having a problem with math: A fact doesn't need you to believe it, or even understand it, in order for it to be a fact. So what about God? Well, either God exists, or He doesn't... And that's a fact. |

"I can't wrap my brain around it"...........that is true for all of us here on earth. I look at it as we will never know everything until it is revealed to us by God. Also think about it this way. Should we expect to be able to completely understand God while here on earth? I don't think so. We start getting into trouble when we think we know more than God |
