| How does philosophy inspire a composer?
I have learned that Liszt, Wagner, etc were influenced by philosophers such as Kant, but what amazes me the most is that they manifested the influence through their compositions. How does this work? I mean how does the epiricistic-rational philosophy of Kant relate to music? *empiricistic      |
