When we Answer philosophy Q's are we helping ourselves by clearly expressing our...

...own thoughts as much as -->? we are helping the person's asking the Q's? (This is not a Q for those who post unhelpfully mostly for points.)
nb: This Q will probably be deleted by YAT in total disregard and disrespect for our efforts-mine as Q-asker and yours as Answerers!

Yes, that's why I post. I learn best by teaching. I learn a lot by answering questions, for me it's much more than I would learn by coming up with questions of my own.

Sometimes it might be true but I think the good answers are from people who want to help or have all these thoughts running around in their minds that have to have an outlet. Like my rambling thought. We all have ideas and here we can express them without notoriety.
