| Need Philosophy help. Socrates-about him believing that it's ignorent to have...
...fear of death..? 1)Why does Socrates believe that fearing death is ignorent? 2) Why does he thinks that in order to truly succeed, one must stop fearing death?      |

it's like in the movie V for Vendetta, the only way Evey can truly be free is by being tortured by V to the point where she no longer fears death. Socrates is right in believing that fearing death is ignorant because, in order to fully live your life, you mustn't live in fear of the future, but in joy for the present.
